In seven minutes up a winding paved country road I reach the place where I can see cows grazing on the hillsides, farmers baling hay, colourful wildflowers, views of Me-Akan and O-Akan Mountains...
This is my sweet ride...
Smile.
At forty kilometers this top speed seems too fast for the life that surrounds me. I took time to stop, smell the wildflowers, and smile!

Hi Tammy,
As always I loved your entry. The ride to the cows and the wild flowers on a smile, the name of your scooter. You move so much slower, gentler on your smile than I on my dream. That is the name of my small motorbike. I should slow down. Your pace is much better. Remember we went on a long ride on this bike? We saw a bit of the country side around Chiang Mai. I slowed down then. Much better. Let's smile about the funny dreams that we have and dream of many more smiles to come, Sallo
Sallo...riding 'Dream' in Chiang Mai. Of course I remember.
I also remember seeing up to five people riding bikes like yours...the smallest child (as young as two years of age!) always at the front.
No helmets of course.
Great memories. Thanks!
